Better if you Google your query. I found rooting article related to Samsung on There you can search for rooting + Samsung section. All the best :)

Make sure to reboot your phone often. It boost performance and helps avoid errors. Rebooting also let's the phone check for filmware updates.
Be content with the software version you have, it is more likely than enough for your needs. Wait until an OTA update becomes available, which might be never so keep your fingers crossed.

If you have a DataPlan or internet connection on your phone, you can check official firmware update by tapping settings->About device->Software Update->Update (check for update) . Also have the auto-update ticked.

If you do not have internet on your Phone, install Samsung Kies and plug in the phone to the PC to check for firmware update.

BTW it is a java phone and not an android phone and Internal memory is only 200 MB. Forget Android, you may only spoil the phone. However if you still insist, then refer to at your own risk under "description - show more" it has full instructions for installing android on the Samsung S5620 Monte. Of course, you risk bricking your phone

You must go for official updates route and not by other methods as there comes huge responsibility for maintaining your device after that.

But since, your phone is not an Android(Samsung Monte),it's better to update it via -

    Samsung PC Studio
