How can I stop the bar on left side of screen interfering with reading?

Christine S September 28, 2013

Hi, ever since the change at MakeUseOf I now have a “bar” on left side of screen with a FaceBook “like” button, Twitter button, Google + button, and it follows me as i am trying to read, interfering with everything on left side. It is bothersome on my laptop, and impossible to read articles on my HTC DNA. Is there any way for me to get it to remain stationary at top or bottom of screen?
Thanks again, Christine….

I miss you guys please help!

If you make your screen smaller, it will display at the bottom instead.

I don't think there are any real hacks to make the floating menu bars become stationary for MUO. I use Firefox for Android without issue, but the screen resolution may have a part in it. I haven't noticed this issue in Chrome on my netbook or desktop, either; I have used Internet Explorer, Opera, Chrome (Comodo Dragon), and Firefox (Comodo Ice Dragon).
