Every time I want to install Android apps to my PC I am given the install option for my old Hauwei phone. How can I stop this happening so I can download to my PC for transfer to my phone later on?

It is not possible to download apk's directly from Google Play. Just go to this site and download apk of the app you want.

You can hide unwanted phone/tablet from list.

    1. Go to
    2. At bottom of page you will find link "My Orders & Settings"
    3. Click on Settings tab
    4. Uncheck "Shown in menus" option for phone/Tablet you don't want to be visible in menu.

You should be able to get your old phone off of the account by going into your Google Play account and trying to remove it that way. there's gotta be a settings option somewhere in it.
