I am using Outlook 2010 and my PST size is 8 GB . I want to divide my PST as yearly basis. How can i split without any data loss?

perhaps MailScavator can help
From the top of my head the easiest option is going to be Outlooks archive function.
Select to manually archive emails, then set a date and the pst file name. Start with the oldest date/year and for each following year select a new archive PST.
