How can I set up a wireless LAN server in Windows 8?

I use Windows 8. There is no option to create a wireless LAN server. I want to play LAN game, so I want a LAN server. How can I do that? Please help.

    use maryfi or connectify... may require drivers from maryfi website.

    There are ways to do it in windows, conectify works well. Getting a real router however (they are pretty cheap) is much easier.

    Get a router and connect all the PCs you want to play your game on to that and then search the PCs from the LAN mode of your game.

    Also get windows home server 2011(cheaper than windows 7) or windows server 2012 essentials.(very expensive).this os need to be installed on a separate server.
