How can I reverse tether my Android via USB without rooting?

Rajaa Chowdhury January 5, 2013

I have a Windows 7 64-bit desktop with a cable broadband connection unlimited plan. I also have a Samsung Galaxy Chat GT-B5330 with Android ICS 4.0.4 latest firmware updated.

Now I want to utilize this internet connection for my Android. I do not have a WiFi adapter on my desktop, so I will have to connect via the USB. Neither I want to root my device. Any solution for my request of reverse tethering via USB without rooting?

I think it's not possible without rooting. Only then you can use an app for this, like : [Broken Link Removed]

If all else fails, you can always buy a USB WiFI adapter (I buy tiny ones off eBay for about £2 and they work very well) and attach it to your PC...

Maybe you should try a USB to Ethernet adapter for android.
