How can I print SMS messagesfrom my iPhone?

Marie K November 24, 2013

I really need to print some texts I exchanged on my phone for a legal case. I tried some applications I found on the web, but they print the messages in excel-style … I need to mantain the iPhone format (with green / grey baloons, etc…) Can somebody recommend a good program to do that?

you want to print SMS messages from your iPhone, which is so easy. the simplest way is here.
download a data recovery software, yeah, what i say is not to let you recover your data(while if you want to do this by the way, it is ok), but to export the SMS to your computer, then print.
these steps cost a little time and easy to do.
    I hope these ideas help.

I doubt very much that the judge will care about the formatting of the messages, but the other side can argue that your SMS exchanges are fabricated. I suggest you take legal advice about how to back up the texts in a way that will be recognised by the courts.

Thanks. CopyTrans Contacts worked for me as it exported the text messages in Word format on my computer. I then in turn simply clicked "Print".

From the top of my head make a screenshot (Power/Standby + Home button) which will and in your photo library and print that out. That's the only way I can think of preservimg the format of the messages.

But for a legal case I would assume you have to show the logs using the actual phone since print-outs be it text or a picture can be altered.

Also this screenshot thing is not suitable if someone wants to print a long conversation or multiple iPhone SMS as in that case you have to take multiple screenshots which would be a time consuming thing. Give a try to iPhone transfer SMS If you want to print your iPhone text messages exactly they appear in your iPhone. Have a look at this quick guide to printing iPhone text messages:

I hope this will help you.
