When I go to screen resolution, its only display and resolution and nothing else but everyone’s laptop has orientation. Same when I go to graphics properties, there’s no ‘scaling’ setting. It affects me as all my games and a lot of other stuff refuse to work full screen. How can I make them work full screen?
Check your graphics card settings for sclaing
change resolution to 1366 x 768
thats what I did to resolve
try enhansing ur resolution...
Maybe you're trying to play a game that require more resolution than what your laptop can offer. check the game requirement and confirm that your pc is capable of supporting it. If yes, make sure you have the correct driver installed for your display.
Did you try F11?
change the resolution of ur screen ....
Two problems you might run into:
1.Your laptop isn't powerful enough to run the game at a higher resolution, and if done performance will suffer causing unexpected problems.
2.The game doesn't provide any options to change the resolution.
3.you cant use resolutions that are higher than your monitor's native
check this microsoft fix it.

can you explain the problem a little more clearly!
The resolution should be set to recommended, since it's the one that has the same dimension with you screen dimension!
The orientation doesn't have to do nothing with this problem!
Probably you have a problem with your graphics card driver! Try to clean uninstall your graphics card driver, and install the lasted version of it!
If this problem happened due to an update, than clean uninstall the driver and install the one recommended by your laptop official web page! (check the driver section of the page)
