How can I make file sharing sites think time has passed?

Richard Weeden February 10, 2013

So, file storage sites such as RapidShare and Uploaded only let you download one or two files per hour. This is a problem if you have a lot of files to download in a small time period.

I tried using Tor, and and it did let me get back on to RapidShare for a while. It now thinks I’m trying to download multiple files at a time.

Can anyone help my with this problem? I can’t pay for it.

Reset your Router (ip Address) when waiting starts and when you get your new IP , Start the next download! This would be a pin in the butt so I suggest:

Use Jdownloader, and you can make it to Auto Reset your ip Address when waiting time starts (Its called Auto Reconnect in Jdownloader)

    Else, Buy Premium Account.

You can use SkipScreen app for Google Chrome -

    Firefox addon also available -

This addon skips the time which is most often shown by these sites.

If you search around the web for "rapidshare hacks" or similar keywords you're bound to find something that'll get you what you're looking for, I'm not sure if makeuseof is okay with publishing this type of stuff in the answers, so I'm not providing links but I'm pretty sure firefox has an extension that it'll do that.
