How can I export or convert my iMovie I made on the iPad to a format that I can view on other machines?

i would try to email it, but sometimes the video is too big to send. You could plug your ipad up to your laptop or computer with a USB cord (i think thats what they are called) and save the imovie to your ipads camera roll that way you can import it into your laptop. its kinda like when you plug your cameras memory card in and it asks to import pictures and videos. I dont know if it will work but i hope it helped!

First you have to export it within iMovie on your iPad. Click share and select either iTunes or Camera Roll.

If you select iTunes you can find the video by connecting the iPad to your computer, open iTunes and at the Apps tab there should be iMovie listed at the bottom and once you click on it you will see your movie.

If you select Camera Roll you can access it like all pictures either using your preferred application or via the DCIM folder.

If I recall correctly the movies will MPEG-4 in a "mov" container so to use them on other devices you will probably have to convert them.
