I’ve tried with several Firefox plug-ins like Download Helper and no luck. I’ve also tried checking the cache and it worked once or twice from several times. The proper link didn’t appear, even after the video was finished.
The youtube downloader can download videos from Video sharing sites.
maybe you can take a try.
As I know it can Easily download YouTube videos and FLV videos from other popular websites like Metacafe, Videojug, Google Video, Vimeo, etc.
perhaps with Real Player or Real Player pro?
Have you ever tried RealPlayer? I've never had a problem with downloading or converting to multiple formats. Give this a read: http://www.real.com/resources/video-search-engines
I would have tried downloading using Internet Download Manager maybe?
Alternatively, you can view the source code of the page and search[Press F3] for video formats like FLV or MP4 or SWF and download the video using the given link.
It should be like "http://content.screencast.com/users/username/folders/video.mp4"
I tried all this, Jing seems to be very intent on avoiding it. I think I found a way, I hope it works, but it is not direct quick download, I need to check the cache and filter some code to create a new link with it and the name of the video. Almost like your suggestion, but not as straightforward.
You can use download manager like IDM to download the video from the site.
You can you Video cache find it here http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html. and more software for you.
I used this, basically gives me the same options that the cache viewer in firefox, the difference is that I can order them by size. But it is no help when the video doesn't appear this, or does so sporadically.
IDM also didn't work?
Thank you, but it doesn't work.
Try Any Video Recorder -
Is that a record option? I don't want to record, I want to download to avoid the lag caused by my not so great internet speed.
Try a different browser such as IE or Chrome. You could also delete history and cache and try again. Ccleaner is a quick way to do this.
Nope, the cache only works for this once, even if I deleted it.
