How can I automatically backup SMS messages from my iPhone to my Gmail account?

Brian Poblocki April 5, 2013

I seen the exact question on here, but apparently every user that provided info must have thought iPhone was an Android…. Anyhow, they have a program calles SMS+ for Android, and I’m wondering if there is something like that for iPhone? To back up semi-undetected to the users gmail account. I will probably get the question “what for?”, and the answer is “I wont pay a monthly fee for the software out there that DOESN’T work. I’m running 6.1.2, and SpyBubble screws the phone up pretty bad.

You can back up your iPhone text messages to your computer in HTML or Word format as per these steps:

You can then add your iPhone SMS backup files from your PC to your Gmail by attaching them to an email which you address to yourself.

I downloaded this iPhone SMS + MMS Extractor on my computer to use. It saved both my SMS and MMS messages on computer.

You can have a try if you have many MMS messages.
