How can give a PDF a URL so that I can add that hotlinked file within an email without having to attach it?

drag and drop pdf and upload
    copy the url
    and paste to your email.

    it can be password protected.

you can use google docs as well.
it can be private, link only shared, or public.

    there are many options .

    > install Tonido . it would set up your PC like a virtual cloud . after installation , you can share any file on your PC with just a click . right click on the file and click on --          " Tonido 1 click share " . it would generate a simple url , which you can give to any one you want to share the file with , right from your PC with no need to upload anywhere .

    > upload the file to a file sharing site and it would then generate a url for sharing .
    eg,, etc

    > save your file to a your account on an online back up site like dropbox , boxnet , spider oak , windows live etc . and from there you can share your saved files via a simple url

    > you can use these browser / desktop based file sharing services .

    Hi Dave,

I think what you need to do is use a direct link. A direct link will look like this:"". Of course, you will have to change the link to get this to work. Basically, just enter in the URL to the resource on the website.
