Why doesn’t GTA: San Andreas have sound?

Crunch October 30, 2011

I can’t get the  all the sound to work on my copy of GTA: San Andreas for the PC. I can only get the sound for some cars and on occasion a few lines of a cutscene. I have a Windows 7 laptop from Acer.
