Which graphics card would be best for an Intel motherboard DG965RY? I have a 22″ monitor.

Hello, this are the specs for your motherboard:

It has a pci-e 16x port, so practically the sky is the limit as long as the power supply has the necessary cables/plugs for it.  You have to remember that once you get into expensive video cards, they require a connection to your power supply.  It could be a 4x, 6x or 8x connector besides your pci-e 16x port.

Which graphics card to chose depends mainly on
    - what you intend to use the computer for
    - your CPU
    - your Power Supply

If you do only office related stuff, surfing, email and maybe watching movies there is no point in buying a high-end graphics card since any sub $30 one will perfectly do the job.

However if you intend to play games you obviously have to step up a little bit. This is where you have to factor in the CPU. If you have some Pentium 4 processor in your system there is no point spending $400-500 on a graphics card because the CPU will choke way before.

    As for an definite advice:
Looking at the supported CPU list for your motherboard I would say some $100 graphics card is the highest you should aim for. Reasonable choices include Geforce 9600 or a GT240

Go for NVIDIA 1 gb, it is the best.
