What is a good, small program for joining two videos?

Is there a small and simple utility for joining two videos and creating a new video out of it? The two videos may have different extensions like avg, flv, etc.

xmediarecode it is small and portable and supports most formats(audio and video).

freemake - not so small but easier to use (although it does have advanced settings)

The easiest way to do it in XP is to convert the videos to WMV and use Windows Movie Maker to make the final video.

You will want them all the same file type, or there is a good chance the video will not turn out correctly.
