How do I get my Facebook back?

Carol G September 2, 2014

My grandson were playing on my PC. They are 6 and 7 years old. They were playing their games. I think they were down loading also. They cause my Facebook to disappear.

I want to know how to get it back, and also how to change the email and password. Thank you!

It's likely you were letting your browser auto-log into your Facebook account. When they logged into theirs, your autologon no longer works.

You will need to be able to log in again. If you don't remember your password, there's a "forgot password?" link (may not be exact wording) on the login page that'll let you reset your password. But don't just ket your browser log in automatically and forget the password!

Write down your password somewhere so the next time the kids visit and use your computer to check Facebook, this won't happen again...

    Good luck.

Better yet, use a password manager. By doing so, you only need to remember the master password and not your passwords for every site, your passwords will be encrypted, and it should also be able to generate secure passwords for you. Some have even more capabilities.

Try to click on forgot password
And then facebook will send you a link to your email to restore your facebook

I'm sorry, but we need more information to diagnose and solve your problem.

What were they downloading? And what do you mean they caused your Facebook to disappear? If you navigate to "" in your browser, do you see Facebook?

What email and password would you like to change - your Facebook account?

Once we get this info, we'll be able to give more specific help.
