I can confirm PrizeRebel and SteamPoints both work.
You can also try your luck with reddit at r/RandomActsofGaming , r/GiftofGames, r/PlayitForward where people create giveaways usually they have small requirements including reddit user for 3months +
You can also check out for a PrizeRebel Image Tutorial and what you need to do.
    Good luck!

you can try this site i've been using to get wallet codes. Its basically a survey site you can do in your spare time. You fill out surveys and get points. Once you get 2000 points you can buy a 20$ steam code for 2000. check it out

You can't get them legally unless someone purchased it and gave it to you.

Be careful about the sites listed in Carl's reply, think before you sign up!

You are not going to be able to just get free codes, but if you are in a rough way financially, you could seek help from the Reddit community over at and Just do not take advantage of the kindness of others if you are just being cheap and not genuinely in need.

If you want free games there are a lot available on Steam.

Steam Wallet Codes cost money too so people won't give them to you for free.
