I have been trying to find a cost effective (or free) way to create flyers and post them to Craigslist.
If you have Microsoft office publisher, you can export your flyer in the .jpeg format when you're done with it. Otherwise, Openoffice could do the same job (for free).
Nothing fancy or special programs needed, Marisa.
Why don't you just get your flyer up onscreen in whatever program that shows the least amount of program "toolbar" kind of stuff so that you'll see as much of your flyer as possible on your screen (get it into fullscreen mode if possible) and then take a screenshot of it. Windows: Hold down Shift & then tap the PrntScrn key [the picture goes into RAM memory]; open MS Paint, click Edit, click Paste, click File-> Save As, choose "JPG" format & save your flyer picture to wherever you want it.Macintosh: Hold down the Shift & Command keys together & then tap the number '3' key; the picture will show up on the Desktop; rename it from its generic screenshot filename.
you can find such sites mentioned on makeuseof
CardXC, Spartx, Card.ly, BusinessCardStar, Band-Flyers and MyBrochureMaker.
Some of them provide *.doc and pdf.
