type–> attributes disk clear readonly
type–> x:\>attrib -r /s /d (X= USB drive)
1. Open start menu, in the search bar type REGEDIT and press enter. This will open the registry editor.
2. Navigate to the following path:

Note: If the registry key StorageDevicePolicies does not exist, you will need to create it manually.
3. Highlight StorageDevicePolicies, and then create a New DWORD (32-bit) Value named as WriteProtect.
4. Double click the key WriteProtect in the right window and set the value to 0 in the Value Data Box and press OK button
5. Restart your computer and try copying files into your USB drives I Hope Your Pendrive Is Write & Copy Past

i also executed the above steps but my pen drive wasn't formatted. what to do now?
Open up a command prompt. Type “diskpart” and press enter. At the “DISKPART >” prompt, type “list volume”. This will show you a list of your drives and a corresponding number. Assuming your flash drive is listed as “5?, type “select volume 5?. Then type “attributes volume clear readonly” and press enter.
That will remove the “readonly” setting from the flash drive’s volume. Hopefully it helps. "

Hello, have you tried doing a low level format on your pen drive?
http://hddguru.com/software/HDD-LLF-Low-Level-Format-Tool/
or you could try the HP USB storage format tool:
http://hp-usb-disk-storage-format-tool.en.softonic.com/
If your pen drive is made by one of the big manufacturers you can visit their site and see if they offer a usb drive format utility. Most do....
If you have a linux live cd around, you could use it to format a drive. It incorporates the gpated utility. You could also try two other steps described in the following link:
http://www.troublefixers.com/remove-write-protection-on-usb-pen-drive-or-memory-card-or-ipod/
hello .
the best and most powerful partition editor and format tool is the - GParted http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php
you can try ...
This error may also mean that the pen drive is corrupted.
