Gaugin Singh July 27, 2010

I have been using windows 7 in DELL laptop having i3 Intel processor. I got the message in my screen that GFX has stopped working, and my display clock in the desktop get disappeared.

Please tell me what is wrong and how this problem can be solved.

open device manager (right click computer, click manage, select device manager on left side) locate your display adapter in device manager.
right click and go to properties.
click on the driver tab and then click "roll back driver" if available.
pay attention to your windows updates, and do not let it download display driver updates from microsoft; they never work right (except for the intel integrated graphics)

Try reinstalling the drivers for your graphics card and see if it helps.

i think you might need a drive update for your gfx so try to google the gfx brand name and model to find an updated driver for it. Please feel free to let me know if this helps thanks
