How can I find my iPod Touch if it is out of charge?

Victoria Doman August 30, 2012

I can’t find my iPod Touch. I tried using Find my iPhone to see if it was still home but it couldn’t find it. I dont know if someone stole it or if it is still in the house and I really need to find it soon because my parents are not getting me a new one!

Any tips?

Try to send a message to it..
Usually for me it makes a loud beeping noise.
Even if the battery is dead!

Pretty much what people have said, if it's out of charge there's nothing you can do but search for it :(

Yeah, if your battery is dead then you're out of luck. Time to get on your knees with the flashlight, unfortunately.

Go to the last room you used it in.
Either turn off the lights and close the curtains or wear a blindfold.
    Wander around the room aimlessly.
The first thing you trip over will be your iPod.
    Works everytime for me!

Since it is out of charge the best thing you can do, is to ask your mom to look for it!
If she can't find it, then it is not at your home.

i have checked that link and found that one can track his Ipod when the users turn on iCloud and Enable Automatic Downloads in Store settings.

If it is out of battery this method is useless, wait for anyone to charge and turn it on.

If iCloud not enabled it forgot about your Ipod.

I think you can't do much about it if it is out of charge.

THe first things that comes to my mind is to clean your room, check the laundry and any coats and backpacks you use.
