Why does Facebook tell me I haven’t logged onto it from my computer before, when I have?

I cannot enter my account on Facebook: I get this message:

Enter Security Code to Continue
It looks like you haven’t logged in from this browser before. Please enter the security code from your phone below.

The computer and internet account where I try to access the account is the same oen I used since I created the account in 2013. I do not remember having linked any mobile phone to this account, I also do not have a smart phone able to connect to the internet. I already changed my password through the Google account twice but I always get to this message.
Could you please explain me what is happening? What do I need to do to keep using this account?

Just so you know, next time please click the "reply" button on my comment to reply under my post so that I am alerted to your reply! : )

It looks like there's not a help email line for Facebook, as appeals@facebook.com directs you to their help page, as seen here:

Have you clicked around the FB help center at https://www.facebook.com/help/ ?

Have you clicked "I can't get my code" when prompted? Can you verify your account through friends?

It's possible, though unlikely, that someone added the code generator to your account. Do any of your friends have access to the account?

      Hi Ben
thanks for your presence, I followed your advices and sent email to the ones mentioned in http://gethuman.com/email/Facebook/
to which I got an immediate and authomatic response:

You've reached us at a channel that we don't support. Please visit the Help Center to find answers to many frequently asked questions and up-to-date forms you can use to get in touch with us:

      We apologize for the inconvenience.

      The Facebook Team

then I sent a description of my issue to facebook/help and reported a problem through another facebook account that I have.
When I click "I can't get my code" I get to a page where I have to fill in with personal data, including a picture of my ID. I will do this tomorrow, but the account is in the not real name of La Bio (which is LABIO split in two syllabes) I doubt it would help.

I did not set up the trusted contacts so I can not use this option.

I have a friend who used to access this account but he says he did not link his telephone to the account, and he is not using it anymore. He is an ex collaborator of the LABIO. Should I send you his data? Are you able to check if he is doing something to create us trouble?

Thanks a lot for your patience

You're welcome; I'm sorry I haven't already been able to solve your issue.

You don't need to send me info on him; I doubt he's causing any problems.

Hmm. I'm not sure what else you can do to get into the account. There's a phone number that is linked to it and you can't access it. You don't have any trusted contacts - do you have an alternate email?

Aside from getting in contact with Facebook (which isn't easy, as you now know firsthand) I don't know what we can do here.

These are their steps to get back in when you can't login. If you've exhausted these options, try filing a report. Hopefully you'll hear something.

    Hi Ben,
yes I had just cleared all history in firefox.
I tried to login from other computers and it does not work, I always get to this request of a code sent to my mobile, which I never linked to this account...
It is strange also that my other facebook account is still working.

Can you help me out? is there another way?
I created that account to run a group and a page through which i organize a events, it is important to me and other people.

    Thanks for your response!

Have you cleared your cookies recently? That could cause this message you're seeing, as clearing cookies removes any "Keep me signed in" checkboxes you've ticked. If you try in another browser, do you get this message too?

Have you registered your mobile number with Facebook for text messaging? That could be the security code they're referring to.
