Jeff is probably right. Most people who experience "browser crashes" in Facebook are actually having a component within their browser crash: Flash.

This is because complex systems (like a computer) are only as strong as their weakest link. Facebook apps tend to be poorly written and Flash itself has always been a problematic platform. Other problems could be that your version of Flash is outdated, corrupted or improperly installed.

Try one or more of these options:

    1. As Jeff suggested: try another browser. Google's Chrome browser COMES with Flash built in and it automatically updates, without prompting you. It's also much safer and faster than other browsers.

    2. Uninstall and reinstall Flash Player.

    3. Right click on the game you're playing. Choose 'settings'. Choose folder icon. Increase cache size (any amount is good).

I agree with Tina. What browser are you using? As simple a question as this is, the answer can be quite complicated. Are you on a PC or Mac? Browser-wise Iw ould suggest using Google Chrome - it's fast and solid. If you are using plying Facebook games, it could be Flash crashing. Make sure you Flash is updated to the most recent rev. Make sure your browser is updated. Also, is your operating system have all the most recent fixes. This is just a start...

what browser are you using? Is only Facebook causing it to crash? What do you do on Facebook to make your browser crash?
