On Mac OS X Lion, lots of application can rip DVD, like isky dvd ripper for Mac, which can rip the latest copyright protected DVDs on Mac computer.

Ripit hands down. One click and it's on its way.

The best DVD Ripper is Mac The Ripper (MTR). Currently at version 4, you can only download it after sending a "Gift" of money to them.

You could also download MTR version 2.6.6 for free, but it's not compatible with Mac OS X 10.7.

    Handbrake (free) does not decrypt.
Mac DVD Ripper Pro ($20) and Ripit ($25) are both good. I prefer the DVD Ripper Pro for its simplicity.RipIt is free but is no longer being developed and won't work on everything.

For ripping to files I would say HandBrake and MakeMKV

Other popular choices I know of are Mac DVDRipper Pro and RipIt
