How do I download attachments using Gmail?

In my e-mail inbox there are documents and photos send by my friends.How to download them using in gmail ?

    I got mail with 10 photos with comments along with letter (which are displayed one by one, after the letter). The photos were not attached as a separate attachment. When I try copy paste method, only the first photo is saved -without the comment.I want help in download the photos along with comments in the letter (without the letter content). If u want I will take a screenshot & send it.

      There should be a download option which you can click and save the photo.

      Yes, it will be better if you post a screenshot.

    if you want to download attachments in android follow these steps.
    1)'download all files' from market or other places.
    2)go to gmail app.
    3)press preview for attachment you  want to download
    4)and sellect download all apps and press download.

    Hello, this is how:

    -- open gmail
    -- open the email where the attachment is
    -- it should give you two options, view or download
    -- click on download
    -- it will download attachment to your default download folder

    It is just a matter of clicking on download option, at the end of the mail.
    Do you have any other problem, regarding this ?

    1) Open the message containing an attachment.
    2) Click Download at the bottom of the message. This will save the attachment to your computer.
