When I try to open a CD, my system shows an error message: “The application has failed to start because cppu3.dll was not found. Reinstalling it may solve the problem”

I download the cppu3.dll from this website, but still the same problem occurs when I open the CD.

How can I solve the problem. The CD is Ansic’s CD.

Hello, to begin with, I wouldn't be downloading any dll files from any sites.  Also, what kind of files are in the CD you are trying to open?  That file you mentioned, cppu3.dll is a dll that it installed with Sun Microsystem software.  Do you have open office installed?

If you want this file to be installed, the best way is to uninstall office and once it is uninstalled, restart your computer.  Download a new version of office and install it back.  That should replace the file for you.
