What is difference between Top Developer, Editors Picks and Popular Apps in Android? How are the three different in terms of reliability of coding and features?

Top Developer means the developer with the most votes etc. Editor Picks are as it says the apps that the editor thinks is worth mentioning and Popular apps usually are determined by the number of downloads.

See the below link in which the multicore use by an app is discussed in a detailed way. This will give you an idea or a category of app which can utilize multicore CPUs -

does single thread application utilize multi core in android?

These are just tags. They simply indicate measures of popularity in those categories and do not mean that the apps are better coded or more reliable than others (although it stands to reason that very popular apps are reasonably well coded).

      Sunil,

Have a look at the below article -

      [Broken URL Removed]

The above article has mentioned things which Google considers for listing them in various categories you are looking for.

And if you see the below link and look under the headings of Featured, Staff Picks, Collections, and Badges you will know more.
