I have some jpg images of charts. I want to be able to put text boxes containing a phrase onto each, but these text boxes, about a dozen different ones, will be used several times per chart. Is there a way of using a ‘gallery’ or clipboard where all the text boxes can be put and then ‘drag and dropped’ onto the charts? Either a Word function or an external program.
The office clipboard in Excel is an extension of the Windows clipboard. While the Windows clipboard holds only the last item copied, the office clipboard can hold up to 24 different entries.

Excel gives you access to clipboard with CTRL+CC, then you can copy what you want from the clipboard task pane into the cell of the open worksheet simply by clicking on the item in the clipboard task pane.
Thanks ha14,
That's exactly what I need, problem solved,
