Nex, I'm actually developing a blog right now with advice for every step of the way from content, domains, keywords, hosting etc - but it will be a few weeks before everything is published and officially launched.

For now, if you go to , you can enter your email address or subscribe to the RSS feed to be alerted when everything is ready.

You could try using WordPress as it is free and very easy to use for first timers. You can also go on to joining Freelancer sites such as

and sell your ideas/blogs to Providers there. Most people want you to either write for them (content writers) or are seeking avenues where they can have traffic going through your blog/website and will pay you residual income for that service if you offered it .

Hope this gives you a few ideas.

Few things to start from scratch, go for your own personal blog rather than free blog Steps to think about:

    1) Buy a domain name
    2) Buy a hosting space shared hosting should do ( with Cpanel will offer one click auto installer for wordpress)
    3) Dedicated IP will help SEO of blog
    4) Make sure all the topics you write are unique , informative and no copied contains from other sites.
    5) Regular contain updates are important with good key word tags.
Once your Blog is famous you can ad google adsense to earn money from traffic, or try selling Banner ads or Blogroll Text link.

    Hope this helps you.

Steps 2 and 3 are contradictory, and step 3 is simply incorrect.

As James pointed the fact that the website has Dedicated/Shared IP
address has no effect on its SERP rankings.
