Considering getting an MP3 player for classical music, but hear that it is not practical because classical pieces are too long. One symphony=one hour. I would want space for many symphonies and concertos.
Thanks for the help. Checked out the sites and will go back to them. Noted that songs take 2.5-4 MB each. Went to classical music download sites, but could not find any info as to MB size of offerings. Still searching.
2.5mb is reasonable size note that if you compress much then possible mp3 player will not be able to play it.
contact them they may provide different quality of classical music.
Ogg Vorbis - An Alternative to MP3
In the case you want to add several long albums then 16 to 32 go is good enough, consider to purchase mp3 player that has sd slot;
There are also softwares that compress mp3files without big loss of quality, in this case you will have more rooms in the player.
I personally think even something in the range of 8 GBs would be good enough. To get an idea how much music you may store on 1GB check out following link.
