The Nokia Lumia 720 if u have a budget. If price is not a concern, then the Nokia Lumia 920 should be what u want.

Go for the lumia 720 as said by others , it's a very good looking phone with lot's off high-end goodies at a good price. Except if you are looking for a high-end phone then I couldn't recommend more my Lumia 920 !

Nokia Lumia 720 with 2000 mAh battery
Nokia Lumia 920 with 2000 mAh battery
Windows Phone 8X by HTC with 1800mAh battery
Windows Phone 8S by HTC but battery is 1700mAh

All the above are WP8 smartphones with specs as asked by you

I personally feel the Nokia Lumia 720 is the best fit for your requirement as 920 is a bit costly and a overkill. Nokia Lumia 720 has just beenlaunched a few days now in India and is around 18.5K. Also do checkout the HTC WP8X too as it also fits your bill. Narrow down to these two.

Nokia 720 not available in stores yet. What about 810 , 822 - are they available in stores?

Nikia Lumia 720 has been launched and now officially available at the Nokia Online Store. It is the best fit for your requirement. The link to buy is . As it is already available online from Nokia, you should get it in the retail stores too in just a matter of days.

810 is the older generation with Windows 7.5 Mango and not at all recommended. 822 is a variation of 820 and not available in India, it is available in USA with Verizon contract.

Beside I did not suggest Lumia 820 as it only has 1650mAh battery.

Sorry about the mis-information of the Lumia 810. It is also a WP8 device however available in USA with T-Mobile contract. Not available in India. In India, Lumia models available currently with WP8 are 520,620,720,820,920. Comparison between 810 vs. 820 vs. 822 is here :

I was aware of 720 release date even before posting this question

But I had asked for stores and another two weeks after online store release and that too in demand so further delay , which is why I asked to know alternative models

The 810, 822, and the 920 all meet your criteria. the 920's battery is 2000 mAh while the other 2 are 1800 mAh. Also, the 810 and the 822 have a little bit smaller screen, at 4.3" compared to the 920's 4.5".

The 920 is also heavier, being a beefier phone. It weighs 185g, as opposed to ~140 for the other 2

if you find your Nokia 4 inch based on the suggestion in this thread and if the battery is little than 2000 mAh, there are extended batteries on the market.

Can you tell about extended batteries

You mean exchanging a new external battery of greater strength with the pre-installed battery of same make ( Nokia ) ?

Would the total cost be same as for pre-installed 2000 maaH batttery model ?

    • ha14
      April 18, 2013 at 8:08 pm

yap exchanging, the total well its a new battery that you are purchasing, you can try ebay to get cheaper but you have to be careful to get a good one because there are batteries although they are 2000mah cannot last a day more like fake ones.
