How can I use my computer to watch TV programming?

Cynthia A February 12, 2014

I don’t own a TV. Is there a way to use my computer as a TV?

This is one that I use, I have just downgraded my cable because I can watch them on here for free. CSI, Helux, Bones, NCIS, NCIS LA, & Loads more. Episodes from the first series ie Breaking Bad if you don't mind just waiting a few days after they have been transmitted then there is quite a few to go at. Other programs you can watch on ITV Player, BBC iPlayer, Demand 5 & OD4.

Yes, there are several ways. Many TV networks offer streaming video from their websites. There's also the XBMC media server that can be used to watch a lot of different television shows and other video. You can also subscribe to services like Netflix and Hulu.
