How can I transfer photos from my Galaxy Mega GT19205 to my laptop?
You have several options. You can plug the device into the computer, open the file explorer on your computer (clock Start, then select Computer. School down the list on the left side of the window and find your device name, usually the model number.) Open the SD card or internal storage folder, locate the DCIM folder, and open the folders within, usually Camera, to access your photos. Copy or drag-and-drop them to your Pictures folder on the computer (or any other location you wish).
You can use Kies software to sync your phone to the computer, which has the option to transfer photos, music, videos, backup contacts and the phone, etc. http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP
You can use Kies Air to wirelessly connect your Mega to the computer over Wi-Fi connection, and perform similar actions as Kies desktop software. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.swift.app.kiesair&hl=nl It may already be installed on your Mega, if not, download and install it. You can use Dropbox (or other cloud service) on your device, and then access your Dropbox (or other cloud service) account and photos on your computer through the web browser. Just login, search your uploads, and then download them.
