How can I transfer Mac Entourage 2008 to Windows Outlook 2013?

Henry W December 22, 2013

How can I transfer my entire Microsoft Entourage 2008 running on my Macbook Air to Windows Outlook 2013? Recently I bought a new Windows system as my Mac is giving some problems, and for the time being I want to go with a Windows system.

How can I transfer all the data from Entourage 2008 to Outlook 2013?

Unfortunately, Entourage does not offer any standard means of cross-platform conversion. Messages and attachments are stored in a proprietary format that is not supported by other email applications, such as Outlook. Therefore, email migration from Mac to PC or Entourage to Outlook turns into a complex task.

To solve your problem you can simply search on the search engine you use typing "entourage to pst converter", you will land into plenty of results to select from.

A few toolls I am aware of are:-

    1. Entourage to Pst Converter :

    2. Mail Passport Pro :

    There are essentially three ways:

    1. You can go via the MBOX route as Hovsep explains.
    2. You can export the Entourage mail to .RGE (Entourage's own archive format) and convert that to PST using a utility such as "Entourage to PST converter" (it costs $29).
    3. Connect both old and new computers to an IMAP email account (if your server does not support IMAP, simply create a GMail account for the purpose and use that). Upload all your email from Entourage to the server by dragging the folders into the account (it will make sense when you actually do it), and the messages will show up on the new computer once all the mail is synchronised. You can then drag them to local storage if required. The main downside of this method is that it can take a long time... Still, it's good since it works with almost all combinations of mail clients, and the end results are excellent.
