Reference your Fitbit Flex vs Jawbone UP comparative review. Your review does not mention swimming. Swimming is a major daily activity for me. If the Jawbone UP cannot be worn in the water, then it is useless to me.

it is water resistant but not water-proof! it can resist shower, rain, washing dish...
