How can I tell how much data is being accessed by different programs on my PC?

How to know real-time data usage on a Windows PC? For example, can I tell in real time how much data is used at  the time of using internet on the PC and which software is using data the most? And that includes data usage by the monitoring tool!

Open Task Manager - Applies to Windows 7
Task Manager displays the programs, processes, and services that are currently running on your computer. You can use Task Manager to monitor your computer’s performance or to close a program that's not responding. If you're connected to a network, you can also use Task Manager to view network status and see how your network is functioning. If more than one person is connected to your computer, you can see who's connected and what they're working on, and you can send them a message.

Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar, and then clicking Start Task Manager. Also you can also open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
