How can I get my webcam working again on my ASUS A75A1 Laptop?

Anonymous September 9, 2014

I have an ASUS A75A1 Laptop. My webcam does not work. I have tried a few things like un-installing the drivers. And installing new programs. these don’t work. I even went to Microsoft troubleshooting site to no avail. What do I need to do to get my camera to work.

      1) use hotkey Windows logo key+R keys to open the Run dialog, type msinfo32, press Enter,
      2) Expand Components
      3) click on Problem Devices, check any error messages linking to webcam

you can try pulling out the battery, disconnecting power cord, wait like 2-3 hours and replug everything.
