How can I get my Android phone to communicate with my PC again?

amine dansan November 24, 2014

I have an Alcatel Onetouch Idol S 6034R (android 4.2.2). My problem is that it doesn’t connect to my PC anymore. When I connect the USB cable to the PC the phone starts charging but it doesn’t appear in the PC so I can’t transfer files from my PC to the mobile .

I tried to go to “USB computer connection settings” but this didn’t work either. How can I fix this problem and connect the phone to the PC?

This may have the following situations:
    1. Your phone interface is broken ( Repair the phone interface)
    2. USB cable is broken ( Use another USB cable to try )
    3. You may delete some files relating to phone USB ( you need to reinstall your system or find the phone to delete the USB file or Restore factory settings, then connect it to the computer and then you can update the connect drivers by a free driver software, it will auto-detect your USB and Phone Drivers, you can download it from here
    Good Luck for you.

Go to the Alcatel Onetouch USB driver download page found, and download the Android USB Driver for the Qualcomm platform. Install the driver and see if the phone is recognized by the computer (you may have to restart the computer after installing the driver). Let us know if this does not work.

    Try this:
Download USBDeView from onto your PC
With the phone disconnected, run it and uninstall any entry that matches the alcatel phone.
Connect the phone and see what happens. With any luck it will be re-detected and reconnected.
