To receive Google+ SMS notifications, you need to add a phone number to your Google+ account. Standard message and data rates apply.

    Add a phone number

Open Google+. Place your cursor in the top left corner for the Google+ main menu.
    Select Settings.
Under Notification delivery, click Add phone number.
Enter your information > click Send verification code > enter the verification code > click Save.
Once you've added a phone number to your Google+ account, you can turn SMS notifications on or off.

Turn SMS notifications on or off

Open Google+. Place your cursor in the top left corner for the Google+ main menu. Click Settings.
Scroll down to the Receive notifications heading > click each heading to open each section > in the Phone column, uncheck the boxes next to actions for which you do not wish to receive SMS notifications.

dear. your answer is not what is asked. The query is not for profile sms notifications and not even for contacts notifications sms but for Pages follow. How would you follow a Google Plus Page by sending sms and to which number in India?

Oh, sorry for misunderstanding the question. To be honest, I do not know, maybe somebody else may be able to help you.

It's okay. Honesty to not reply is better than replying wrongly
