Is the drive formatted as NTFS? If so, you may use a program like "Take Ownership" to get permission to add, delete, or modify files on the drive.

Is there a "write protect" switch on the drive? If so, set it to "read/write."

did you by chance run the security program that comes with the sandisk pendrive (RunSandiskSecureAccess_win) if you did it locks your pendrive until you either reinstall it or give the password it might ask for ....heres the site try to locate your drive model and download the software again ..hope this helps
