Can email through Google Feedburner be sent even to subscribers who have not opted to receive?
Can email IDs be added to mailing list through Feedburner
No. There's a word for that though: its called spamming.
hi. Thanks for opening your mind to me. Kindly note , that reason for asking is not to send email spam but to add email ids of persons who have agreed to receive emails from me but most of them do not use computers very much and therefore are not well accustomed to subscribe and are comfortable that they can directly receive without the subscription process involving filling subscription box and confirm verification link in their email. They would be pleased to receive email from me without the subscription process , which is why the question is posted. Even Google Groups has option of 'directly adding members'. So the question is asked to ease process for persons who have asked to receive emails from me , and is therefore not a spam. Kindly do not define intentions without being aware of the reasons
Your motivation is irrelevant - to the company running the service, thats indistinguishable from spamming. No service is allowed to send emails without first verifying that user wishes to receive the emails, because there are anti-spamming laws. Google groups doesnt. Feedburner doesnt. How do think what you want to do is any different from a spammer?
The best you can do is type in their email addresses to the widget and hit subscribe yourself, which they will need to click a link to confirm - though if theyre not capable of typing their email address into a box then I doubt they will be able to confirm their email.
Otherwise, youre limited to just putting their addresses into your own mail client. You should be able to create groups. But no commercial service will allow you to arbitrarily subscribe people without their prior permission.
Dear James. Thanks again for again opening your mind to me.
Kindly note that Google Groups does have 'directly add members' option. You may verify about the 'directly add members' option in Google Groups.
If Gmail justifies sending group email to user's contacts ,and so does Google Groups, then it is justifiably non-spam to send group email to users' contact through interfaces by adding their email addresses. Thus , the question is also evidently justified to be asked as a non-spam process
As already mentioned , the receivers of email are keen to receive information but not accustomed much to using dialog boxes or link confirmations. Thus directly receiving email in their in-boxes is a much easier option for users who use internet mainly for email inboxes
