How to send Google Calendar event as email from same google gmail account? Is there a way to email the gmail contacts directly from Google calendar or alternatively, to add a calendar event and email within Gmail? It seems the calendar option is being removed from Gmail.
Hmm, I think you could export the Google Calendar as *.ics files, and then send them via Email.

Thanks. a) Would the event details be seen within gmail by recipients or only calendar link? and , b) Calendar icon would be seen by all recipients? if b is yes , then do email recipients need to enable images to see calendar icon
Please also note , that Calendar has not be created by email , but calendar event ( preferably Google Calendar ) be directly sent to Gmail contact , either from within Gmail ( which I guess is stopped by Google ) or through Calendar portal's interface
