How can I convert ACSM file to PDF or ePub?

I know the Adobe Digital Editions can open ACSM file with ePub or PDF. But why can’t I transfer them to iPad or Kindle devices?

    perhaps you need calibre?

    i think you will need to remove DRM protection to transfer to ipador kindle
