How can I convert 3GP videos to MP4?

Raipcpkiha April 17, 2014

Hello, I want to convert 3GP videos taken from my son’s birthday party to MP4 so I can play them on iPad.

I’ve found some solution in this post: // but I don’t like any of them. I have no idea about QuickTime and think that VLC is a player rather than a converter.

Hope someone can help me.

Format Factory is a free multifunctional media converter.

Note that the software Alexey recommends is not free!

Try HandBrake from or FreeMake Video Converter from . Both are FREE and pretty good.

VLC is incredibly flexible and can certainly be used to convert files. Just choose "Convert/Save..." from the file menu and you'll see the options there. Most of the other options on the thread also look very sensible.

      Thank you.

I'll follow your guide and give VLC a try.
