How do I burn an ISO file to DVD using Nero 12 under Windows 8.1?

Ned R August 13, 2014

I downloaded the new version of Ubuntu 14.04.1 desktop as an ISO file. Now I am having a difficult time making a bootable disc. I have Nero 12 and when attempting to use the ISO maker I get the message a non-Nero identifiable source (Something to that effect). I am using Windows 8.1 (and will attempt the update later today)/ I even downloaded Magic CD/DVD Maker and attempted again. Where do I go from here?

it can be that Ubuntu 14.04.1 ISO is corrupted and you need a good copy.

Open Nero Express. Click on the Image, Project, Copy option. Select Disk Image or Saved Project. Select the ISO file to burn. Select the DVD drive and click on Burn.

Just tried it, so I know it works.

Like a charm Bruce E. Too bad politics don't work so easily! Thanks a bunch!

We have it easy here. We are dealing with science, physics, and facts. Combined, politics uses less than 1% of them. The rest is opinion and pure speculation.
