What’s the best browser for use with a very slow Internet connection?

    i think firefox is fastest of all the browsers.

    ofcourse opere opera and opera...i'm having a slow connection and i've used IE,firefox and opera.out of these opera is best due to its turbo feature.however on some websites links do not respond on clicking...

    Apart from its Turbo feature, Opera is also useful for getting around blocked websites. It works in most cases in you use the Turbo mode.

    Opera's Turbo mode definitely makes it stand out here. Opera also allows you to easily disable and enable images, which really speeds things up.

    +1 to Opera. It was my main browser before, it is the best browser for slow connection. I don't know if they changed the features in later versions though.

    First one that comes to mind is Opera.
    It has a feature called turbo mode in which sites are compressed on an opera server before being sent to the users browser. This reduces the overall sized of the loaded objects and therefor speed up browsing on slow connections.
