If you would like to keep your options of connectivity to different output devices, such as any 3.5 mm headphone or speaker of your choice as well as car stereo or home stereo that has an AUX (auxiliary) input, you can purchase the Jabra Stereo with FM Radio headset. http://www.flipkart.com/jabra-stereo-fm-radio-wireless-bluetooth-headset/p/itmdzmggpydxzgq8?pid=ACCDZMGGVHUDVGBF&otracker=from-search&srno=t_9&query=stereo+bluetooth&ref=bb70990a-e752-498c-a9e8-76fdd3d8e201

It is a pendant-style Bluetooth adapter with audio controlssui you can wear it anywhere with you and use either the included headphones or any 3.5 mm headphone you may have. There is a built-in microphone and an FM radio function. The reviews are decent, and the price is fairly cheap.

The JBL stereo headsets are pretty good, as well. They are more expensive, but good quality and nee technology (Bluetooth 4.0 instead of 3.0). Otherwise, look for Bluetooth 4.0 headsets if possible as they can use less battery life on both your phone and the headset. Plantronics and Motorola offer very good quality mono headsets for a good price, if you prefer mono headsets. Honestly, though, I can see more use out of the Jabra Stereo headset since it would offer more options and abilities for connecting to other output devices, speakers, and headphones.

Thanks. Very nice answer! Please tell how to "connect" bh108 Bluetooth headset-mic to KitKat tab dell venue 7?

It pairs but doesnot say "connect"
And no sound from streaming media on YouTube or start meeting despite using btmono app. The same headset-mic device is sound enabled when using on ice cream sandwich phone , using same btmono app and same YouTube and start meeting app

What would you use the headset mostly for (music, podcast, audio books, phone calls, video chats)? What style do you prefer (over-ear, on-ear, ear buds, in-ear ear buds, etc.)? Did you want stereo or mono headsets? What is the budget?

LG and Motorola offer very good quality build and sound, but Jabra, Plantronics, Bludio, and several other brands offer similar quality at a lower price. With so many choices, it is difficult to narrow the results down to something you may want. Otherwise, the choices can range from iPanda brand $10USD or less headsets to Bose $300+USD headsets.
