I am running Windows 8 on a Sony VAIO laptop and using the mail app with a Hotmail account. Since yesterday my Hotmail account won’t sync properly and tells me it’s unavailable.
I can force it to sync but it doesn’t always respond. It tells me to contact my service provider. My Hotmail emails are coming through on other devices no problem. I have tried upgrading to Windows 8.1 previously and abandoned the process as it always failed (not sure why).
