What antivirus product can remove a virus from my computer with no internet connection?

I have a computer that is not connected to the internet yet has a virus from a flash drive. What anti-virus to you recommend that does not require internet connection?

I am a big fan of Kaspersky Rescue Disk. Available here: https://support.kaspersky.com/4162

Boot from it. Is a Linux based program and allows you to select which drives you want to scan. It does like to update itself when you boot from it to get the most recent updates, but that isn't necessary. Also does a boot sector scan which has saved me a lot of trouble.

There are dozens of Rescue CDs available; download the ISO version and burn to CD or DVD, and boot from the disc to scan your computer. I don't recommend running an application from the infected machine's Windows installation, because many new viruses prevent any antivirus from loading, like the Fake Antivirus apps that report "this program is infected!" every time you try to launch a program.

It may be best to use an anti-malware tool such as SuperAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes.

Both of these tools are designed to combat malware like this. Download the portable version of SAS and make sure it's updated on a safe computer. Then you can use a flash drive to run the program on the infected computer. Once the infected computer's malware has been removed, you can install a full antivirus program on it.

Stinger (http://www.mcafee.com/uk/downloads/free-tools/stinger.aspx) is one such tool.

If for whatever reason it doesn't do the job, you can download an AV rescue kit (e.g. Avira Rescue System http://www.avira.com/en/download/product/avira-rescue-system, but most AV companies have similar products), install it on a USB drive and restart the PC (the one you used to download the software). Now update the virus definitions on the USB drive and shut down the machine. You can not use that USB drive to boot up the infected machine and give it the once-over.

you can use antivirus without internet but they need internet connection to be activated and update the database or to get the cloud support if the antivirus is cloud based; For easier use without internet connection problems you can try free antivirus that are on the market.
    AVG AntiVirus Free 2014
